Backup cameras are becoming more and more popular in newer vehicles. Soon they will be mandatory to have in newer model vehicles. A backup camera can be very beneficial and be a handy tool to any driver. When you try and parallel park on a busy street or you are trying to
reverse in the dark, a backup camera can be your lifesaver. So be ahead of the curve and get one installed now!
There are a number of different mounting options for backup cameras. Some mount directly to the license plate brackets, or you can even flush mount them in the bumper. For some models of pickup trucks there is a tailgate handle replacement that has a camera in the housing so there is no visible hole and looks like it came straight from the factory. There are also multiple options for the viewing screen, you are sometimes able to use your factory screen or there are a few options if you do not have a factory sceen installed. There are replacement rearview mirrors or we can install a whole new seperate viewing screen.
*Some trucks are able to be outfitted with a new tailgate handle that has a camera built into the housing so there is not drilling into the trucks rearend.
*There is also another option we have to add a backup camera system to your vehicle. There are many different choices for add on screens that would display the camera image when in reverse.
*In most applications we can use a screen that is mounted within the rearview mirror that would display the camera image when the car is put in reverse.
